The Sahir Show “Mumkin he sub kuch hy” unlike any other show on our airwaves
brought another delightful treat for its viewers on 15th of July 2011, Imran Abbas Naqvi
(famous actor & producer) and Annie were the guests on the show.
It was the first interview of Imran Abbas at any show after doing drama serial Khuda
Aur Mohabat (televised on Geo Entertainment). Imran shared his experiences of the
shoot and what inspired him most about the serial. Drama gained much popularity due
to its subject and the story which revolves around the ages old conflict between religious
ideology (Khuda) and human emotions (Mohabbat).
Mantra of Sahir show is: Celebrate life which was well presented through the story of
Annie who shared the guest seat with Imran Abbas. Annie suffered from Polio attack
at the age of 3years, did her Matriculation as a regular student,
she is a teacher by profession and is associated with different NGOs.
Low esteem can be a terrible feeling which makes the person feel as if there is no
solution to his problems, a misfit who is not worthy of enjoying life as others do well
for all such people there is a message from Annie. YOU ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN
THE BIG SCHEME OF THINGS, just because others don’t see it or you are not capable
of doing something does not make you a looser. Life is so alluring… discover the beauty
of life, there is so much to see, we fret over petty things why??? feel the colors of life, be
grateful to God for all his blessings. Annie said my life is different from others but still
beautiful before it ends I want to live every moment of it. I do not want to be sad ever in
life because it is too short and it is worth living.
It is a must requirement of the Sahir Show whoever comes on the floor has to sing/
dance… on audience demand Imran sang a beautiful Ghazal Wo Jar ragha he koi shab-e-
gham guzar k…. no doubt Imran’s singing is as fascinating as his acting.
Segment which deserves brownie points is when Sahir (Host and Sr. producer of the
show) made Annie and Imran dance on the beautiful bhangra beats.
